The 16-port asynchronous serial network module supports 16 asynchronous serial interfaces at speeds up to 134 kbps. The 16 ports are cabled with two custom "octopus" cables, each terminating in 8 ports, each with an option of physical endpoints, including RJ-45 and DB-25 connectors.
